Gregory Lane English

Asheville - Gregory Lane English, 46, of 41 Pisgah View Road died Friday - February 17, 2006 at his home. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was a member of Deaverview Baptist Church. He was an avid fisherman and bowler. He was a son of the late Fred Glendon English and is survived by his mother and step father, Rosa Lee Shook English Courtney and Donald Rodney Courtney of Asheville. Surviving in addition to his mother and step father are his daughters, Shannon English of Mars Hill and Nicole English Courtney of Asheville; sister, Debbie English of Conover and brothers, Larry English of Conover and Mike English of Asheville. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Pastor James Stewart officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the funeral home.
