Greenville, SC Glenda Kay Hyatt, 54, went on to Heaven Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at the Elizabeth House after a long, courageous battle. Ms. Hyatt was a native of Buncombe County, residing here for most of her life before moving to Greenville in 2006. She was a member of Longs Chapel Baptist Church. Ms. Hyatt was the daughter of the late James Junior and Marjorie Ledford Ingle. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Roger Ingle, who passed away in January 2009. Surviving are her daughter, Melissa McKinney of Weaverville; sons: Bobby Hyatt and wife Jennifer of Leicester and Daniel Hyatt and wife Heidi of Weaverville; grandchildren: Dylan, Dakota, Gracie, Devin, and Bryson, all of whom were her pride and joy; brothers: Charles Ingle and wife Judy of Weaverville, Rickey Ingle and wife Suzanne of Candler, and Gene Ingle and wife Illa Jean of Fairview; sister-in-law, Ann Ingle of Weaverville; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins who adored her. Memorial services will be held at 6 PM Thursday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home and Cremation Center with the Rev. Terry Wayne Penland officiating. The family will receive friends following the services.
