Gladys D. Gossett

Asheville - Gladys Deitz Gossett, 88, died Friday June 13, 2008 at Clare Bridge of Asheville after an extended illness. A native of Bryson City, she had lived most of her life in Asheville. She was a member and former Sunday School teacher at Westwood Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Frank and Millie Deitz and the wife of the late Walter Gossett. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Ray and Guy Deitz and sister Edith Reeves. Surviving are her brother, Emmett Deitz and wife Voncie of Taylors, SC; sister, Helen D. Thompson of Asheville and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday at Green Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon to 12:45 P. M.
