Geraldine Revis Swann

Leicester - Geraldine Revis Swann, 69, of 228 Browntown Rd. died Monday, February 23, 2004 at Memorial Mission Hospital. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County. She was a Homemaker and attended Gospel Tabernacle. Mrs. Swann was a daughter of the late Joseph Benjamin and Mary West Revis. Surviving are her husband, Kenneth Lee Swann of the home; sons, Darrell Swann of Asheville, Larry Swann of Etowah and Joe Swann of Candler; daughters, Joyce Scroggs of Fletcher, Patricia Dodd of Woodfin and Vicky Hagan of Leicester; sisters, Edith Thomas of Leicester, Reva Hampton of Asheville, Becky McLaughlin of Fairview and Martha Franklin of Canton; brothers, James Revis of Leicester, Paul Revis of Candler, Doyce Revis of Asheville and Van Revis of Canton; 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Billy Dodd and Rev. Eugene Dodd officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Friday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
