Geraldene Hensley Bradford

Geraldene Hensley Bradford, 69, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. A native of Burnsville she resided in Candler most of her life. She was a member of Glady Baptist Church and worked for Mills Mfg. and later Goodwill where she recently retired. Mrs. Bradford was the daughter of the late Sam and Aleatha Bryant Hensley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Fred Bradford; and brothers: Douglas Hensley and David Hensley. Surviving are her son, Donald Keith Bradford and wife Jackie of Candler; granddaughters: Brittney Keever and husband Bradley, and Halie Bradford both of Candler; sisters: Haney Peterson, Lennie Laws and husband Junior, Atlas Laws, and Polly Whitson and husband Ralph all of Burnsville; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at White Rock Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Oliver officiating. Burial will follow in Glady Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Monday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
