Genevieve Bell Bradley, 94, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 14, 2018 following a short illness. A native of Haywood County she resided in Buncombe County for most of her life. She retired from the Biltmore Estate after many years of service, and was a longtime member of Long Shoals Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Sidney Ellis Burrell and Lelia Frady Burrell. She was also preceded in death by her 1st husband, Henry Clark Bell, who passed on January 16, 1975; 2nd husband, Richard Elmo Bradley, who passed on February 24, 2006; 5 sisters: Dorothy Jean Burrell, Oberia Crawford, Mae Crawford, Betty Jo Pless, and Faye Knight; 4 brothers: Carroll Clark Burrell, Raymond Burrell, Leonard Burrell, and Brown Low Burrell. Surviving are her children: Tommy Bell of Arden, and Theresa Dickerhoof and her husband Gerald of Hendersonville; grandchildren: Diana Katzenberger and husband David and Brian Dickerhoof and wife Sheila; great-grandson, Aaron Katzenberger; sister, Loretha Sayles; brothers: James Buddy Burrell, and Lewin Burrell; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services have been rescheduled for 11 AM Thursday, January 18, 2018 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Rearden officiating. Burial will follow at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 10 till 11 AM Thursday at the funeral home.
