Gaynell Hoover

Asheville Gaynell Hoover, 83, went to be with the Lord Thursday, September 22, 2011 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Hoover; and parents: Murphy and Bonnie Hensley. Surviving are her daughters: Linda Greene and husband Wayne, and Reba Cannon; step daughter: Jackie Hoover; grandchildren: Michael Greene, Thomas Greene, Steve White, Angie Owens, Dian Howard and Leon Howard; great-grandchildren: Nicole Rivera, Chastidy Greene, Amanda Greene, Andrew Greene, Abigail Greene, Olivia White, Chelsea White, Krissa White and Robbie Howard; great, great-grandchildren: Gracie Owens and Chloe Greene; brother, Ticie Hensley; and sisters: Winnie Stines, Magdeline Tipton, and Alice Fender. Memorial services will be held at 1 PM Saturday at Freedom Baptist Church, with the Rev. Keith Hutchinson officiating. The family will receive friends following the services. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is assisting the Hoover family.
