Gail Whitaker

Gail Whitaker, 81, a native of Asheville, NC, left this world and went to be with Jesus, in Heaven, on Tuesday, May 3, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Lena Clark Beck and she was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Whitaker, and brother Lenoir Moore. She is survived by 3 daughters. Nancy Gosnell (Dennis) of Monroe, NC; Jan Owens (Larry) of Pinopolis, SC; Chrissy Wilson (Dan) of Fairview, NC; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Gail retired after many years of service from Pepsi Cola Bottling Company. She also worked with Seniors helping Seniors and Super Sitters. She loved board games, picnics, and being with people, especially her family. She had an adventurous spirit, and her smile was as big as life. A Graveside service, to celebrate her life, will be held at 2:00pm Sunday, May 8, 2022, at the Whitaker Cemetery in Barnardsville, NC.
