Frank Earnest Simpson

Frank E. Simpson, 91, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at the NC State Veterans Home, Black Mountain. Frank was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII, and was retired from Fredrickson Trucking Company where he was a heavy truck mechanic. He was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Madge Lane Simpson who passed away September 20, 2013; and a son Frank L. Simpson. Frank is survived by daughters: Gayle (Bill) Perry of Midland, TX, Deborah Allen of Orlando, FL, and Kathy (Mike) Fletcher of Hendersonville, NC; daughter-in-law, Linda Simpson of Etowah, NC; 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 3PM Monday, March 31, 2014 at Pisgah View Memorial Park with Rev. Dan Epley officiating. The family will receive friends at Anders-Rice Funeral Home on Monday from 1:30 till 2:45 PM. The Simpson family would like to give thanks to the staff of the NC State Veterans Home for their great care of Frank.
