Frances Katherine Harris Rice

Frances Katherine Harris Rice, 86, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Hawthorne Inn, Greenville, SC. A native of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late Frank Leonard and Olan Janette Litterll Harris. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bryan William Rice. Surviving are her sons: Alan Bryan Rice of Travelers Rest, SC, David William Rice of Central, SC, Gary Stephen Rice of Wilmington, NC; four grandchildren; and a sister, Nina Harris Daniels. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory, with Rev. Steve Oxner officiating.
