Faye Roberts

Asheville Faye Brooks Roberts, 81, a loving Mother and faithful Christian, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2014 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County. She was the daughter of the late Marshall Gordon Brooks and Carrie Lucille Case Hollifield. Mrs. Roberts was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Roberts; sister, Christine Brooks and grandson, Ricky Roberts. Surviving are her children, Gail Brooks, Roger Brooks, Bobby Roberts, Lucille Ward and husband Jimmy, Glenda Deaver, William Roberts, Marie Case and husband Mark, Susie Roberts and David Roberts and wife Darlene; 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, December 14, 2014 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Zack Self officiating. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 PM Sunday at the funeral home. A special thanks to the staff of the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center for their love and compassion.
