Fannie Mae Miller

March 13, 1918 — February 13, 2005

Candler Fannie Mae Miller, 86, formerly of 157 Oak Hill Road, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2005 at Pisgah Manor Health Care Center. A native of the Shutin Community of Hot Springs, Miss Miller resided in Millville, NJ for a number of years before moving to Buncombe County in 1996. She retired from the Ball Glass Company in Millville as a bottle sorter. She was the daughter of the late George and Nora Gowan Miller. Miss Miller was also preceded in death by her brother, Carl Miller, and two sisters: Luvenia Miller and Lillian Miller Rudisill. Surviving are her sister, Minnie Tweed of Cherryville, NC, and a number of nieces and nephews, including nephew Edward Buddy Rudisill and wife Irma, with whom she made her home. A graveside service will be held at 3 PM Wednesday in the Fairview Methodist Church Cemetery in Hot Springs, with the Rev. Randy Wood officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Wednesday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
