Everette Holcombe

Asheville - Everette Holcombe, 89, of Asheville, passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2010. A native of Catawba County. He had resided most of life in Asheville. Mr. Holcombe was the son of the late Ernest Holcombe. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Birttie Virginia Holcombe who died November 30, 1990, one sister and one brother. Surviving are his son, Hal Holcombe and wife Marie; granddaughters, Erin and Stephanie and brother, Ernest Holcombe, Jr. Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory with Rev. Allen Rash officiating. The family will receive friends 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. Saturday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
