Evelyn Lance

Candler Evelyn Green Lance, 81, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at Stonecreek Health and Rehab. Mrs. Lance was a native and resident of Buncombe County and a member of Pole Creek Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Herbert Bryan and Lois Robinson Green. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Harold Green. Surviving are her sisters, Willa Mae Arrowood of Asheville, Marie Arrowood of Candler and Vivian Swann of Asheville; brothers, Herschel Green and Paul Green both of Candler and several nieces and nephews, including her niece, Barbara Shuffler. Graveside services will be held 10:30 AM Friday, September 13, 2013 at Pisgah View Memorial Park with Rev. Dennis Thurmond officiating.
