Eva Estelle Williams

October 1, 1921 — May 15, 2005

Asheville - Eva Estelle Craft Williams, 83, of 1337 Merrimon Avenue died unexpectedly Sunday May 15, 2005 at Memorial Mission Hospital. A native of McComb, MS she had lived most of her life in Asheville. She was a member of First Baptist Church Of Asheville for more than 50 years. She was also a Legion of Honor member of Royal Arcanum and a volunteer with ABCCM. She was a daughter of the late Garland Troy and Ethel Mary Hardin Craft and the wife of the late Lloyd Edward Williams. She was also preceded in death by sister, Pauline Crowe. Surviving are her sons, Ed Williams and wife Jan of Indian Trail and Dr. Steven Alan Williams of Asheville; daughter, Helen Patricia Agee and husband Royce of Danville, Va.; brother, Bob Craft of Asheville; sister, Helen Hill of Asheville; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Asheville with the Revs. Eddie Morgan and Donna Painter officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:00 P.M. at the church. Memorials may be made to: Mt. Area Hospice, P.O. Box 25338, Asheville, N.C. 28813.
