Erik Ross Phillips

Erik Ross Phillips, 63, went home to be with his Savior on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. Mr. Phillips was a native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, and a member of Skyland First Baptist Church and Gideons International. He was a son of Ruby Taylor Bennes of Hendersonville and the late Arnold Ross Phillips, Jr. Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Tina; children: Jason Phillips and wife Cyndi, Lisa Rice and husband Corey, Erin Fuchs and husband Phil, and Mandi Farmer; grandchildren: Jenna, Xander, Ceara, Alyssa, Ross, Jaxon, Easton, and Izaak; sisters: Krista Phillips Hare of Hendersonville, and Heidi Phillips McCoy and husband John of Candler; brothers: Dane Phillips of Hendersonville, and Shannon Bennes and wife Suzanna of California; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 PM Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Skyland First Baptist Church, 2115 Hendersonville, Rd, Arden. A private burial will be at Shepherd Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:30 till 3:30 PM at the church.
