Eric Marshall Davis

Charlotte Eric Marshall Davis, 26, of Charlotte went to be with his Lord Sunday, May 29, 2011. A native and resident most of his life of Buncombe County. Eric moved to Charlotte in 2008 where he was serving as Assistant Manager with Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Concord. He was a 2003 graduate of T.C. Roberson High School and a 2007 Magnum Cum Laude graduate of Western Carolina University with a B.S. in Forensic Anthropology. Eric was the son of Bobby Eugene Davis and Gail Faye Davis of Arden. Surviving in addition to his parents are his beloved sister, Kelly Nicole Davis; honorary brother and best friend, Daniel Fielder; paternal grandparents, Patti Bell and husband John Bell of Asheville and the late Bobby M. Davis; maternal grandparents, Roger F. Davis and wife Carolyn Faye Davis of Dayton, VA and the late Sandra Ann Davis; aunts, Kim Marie Frisbee, Nancy P. Davis and Tina Canestraro and their families; uncles, Kerry R. Davis, Ricky A. Davis, Ronnie C. Davis and the late Steve M. Davis and their families and several special cousins. Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Friday at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Ralph Sexton, Jr. and Rev. Allen Rash officiating. Pallbearers will be Jamie Cleaton, Daniel Fielder, Ronnie Davis, Kerry Davis, Ricky Davis, and Kyle Conrad. The family will receive friends 7 to 9 P.M. Thursday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
