Elizabeth Marie Ruhlman

Elizabeth Marie Ficken Ruhlman, 83, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2015 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. A resident of Buncombe County since 2008, she was formerly of Fort Lauderdale, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers. Mrs. Ruhlman is survived by her children, Susan Lynn Ruhlman of Asheville, Anne Jo Ahneman of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Fredrick Herman Ruhlman of Asheville; sister, Evelyn Simpkins of Cologne, NJ; grandchildren, Michele Law and Tim Ahneman; great grandchildren, Jade, Ahneman, Christopher Law and Allie Law and six nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 7 PM Monday, March 9, 2015 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Fredrick Ruhlman officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be at 1 PM on Thursday, March 12, 2015 in Lauderdale Memorial Park, Fort Lauderdale, FL.
