Elizabeth Annette Burrell

Asheville - Elizabeth Annette Ducker Burrell, 65, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday March 4, 2009 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Burgin and Viola Kicklighter Ducker. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Hilda Moseley. Surviving are her son, Wayne Brown and wife Dawn of Asheville; daughter, Lynn Vess of Asheville; sisters, Wilma Ross and husband Jim of Spokane, WA, Jean Burris of Asheville, Martha Wherrett and husband Cork of Asheville and Linda Wilson and husband Otis of Nebo; grandchildren, Preston and Allyson Brown and Nicholas Vess and several nieces and nephews including Robbie Taylor and husband Don and Debbie Connor and husband Johnny. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Charlie Sams officiating. Burial will be in the Snelson Memorial Cemetery.
