Doris Louise Rainey Conner

Doris Louise Rainey Conner, 85, of Skyland, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A native of Madison County, she resided in Buncombe County since 1947. She was the daughter of the late Claude Nathan Rainey and Ruth Balding Rainey. She is also preceded in death by her son, Larry Conner. Mrs. Conner was a member of Skyland Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Floyd Ben Conner; daughter, Debra Riddle and her husband Clayton of Skyland; sister, Helen Arendale of Asheville; granddaughters: Nicole Ferrell and her husband Kyte and Matelyn Lunsford and her husband Tyler Harris; and a great grandson, Taygan Ferrell.
