Doris Hill

Arden Doris June Ricker Hill, 69, of 4 Summit Drive, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. A native of Henderson County, she had resided in Buncombe County most of her life and was a daughter of the late Ralph Junior Ricker and Sallie Louotia Slagle Ricker and wife of Lloyd James Hill who died September 16, 2014. Surviving are her daughter, Vicki Miller of Arden; grandson, James Miller (Michelle Spivey) of Arden; great granddaughters, Rachel Mae Miller and Lucinda Sioux Miller both of Asheville; half sister, Penny Hardison of Burnet, TX; sister-in-law, Texie Hill of Madisonville, TN and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 3 PM Friday, January 4, 2019 at New Salem Cemetery.
