Doris Clontz Cook Buckner

Asheville - Doris Clontz Cook Buckner, our loved one passed away February 28, 2004. She was born May 24, 1926 and was a native of Buncombe County. She was a resident of a local nursing home. She was the daughter of the late Clarence LeRoy Clontz and Lillian Penland Clontz. She was raised by the late C.E. Brookshire, Sr. and Ethel Clontz Brookshire. She is survived by her first husband, Luke H. Cook of Leicester, their son, Kenneth L. Cook and wife Martha Lucille of Alexander; their daughter, Patricia M. Cook and husband Woldemar R. Dogny of Asheville; her grandsons, Trajan Dogny of Chicago, IL and Aidan Dogny of Asheville; her step-mother, Mrs. Grace Reid Clontz of Asheville and her half-sisters, Sarah Lou Lawrence and Linda May Freeman. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Ronnie Owen officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
