Donald W. Austin

Asheville Donald Wesley Duck Austin, 78, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Memorial Mission Hospital. He was a son of the late Clyde and Jennie Clemmons Austin. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Morris June Austin and sisters, Margaret Jackson and Betty Crane. He is survived by his brothers, Ben Austin (Irma) of Arden and Carlton Austin (Claudia) of Asheville; sisters, Juanita Calloway and Carolyn Turbyfill (Glonnie) all of Asheville, several foster brothers; several nieces and nephews and his extended family at Plemmons Family Care Home where he had lived for several years. Many thanks to staff at Memorial Mission Hospital and the Plemmons Family Care Home for the care, love and attention you all gave him. Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the Riverview UMC Cemetery with Rev. Lanny Cobb and Rev. Raymond McHone officiating.
