Debra Harris

Asheville - Debra Jean Walker Harris, 62, of Asheville, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at her home. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, Ms. Harris retired from the Human Resources department of First Citizen Bank, and was currently employed with Telco Credit Union. She was of the Baptist faith, and was a firm believer in God. Ms. Harris was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother and friend, who will be greatly missed. Ms. Harris was the daughter of Mary Loretta Silvers Walker and the late William Fred Walker. In addition to her mother, surviving are her son, Brad Harris; grandsons: Caden and Conner Harris, and their mother Misti; aunts: Ann Davis and Fran Gore; and uncle, Charles Silvers. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at Pisgah View Memorial Park, with the Rev. Ron Brown officiating. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is assisting the Harris family.
