Debora Adkins

Asheville Debora Frances Adkins, 62, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at the Asheland Ridge Heath Care Center. A native of Gaston County, Ms. Adkins had resided most of her life in Buncombe County. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and was never without a smile and laugh. Ms. Adkins was the daughter of Sarah Frances Bean Adkins and the late Harrison Glenn Adkins, Jr. In addition to her mother, surviving are her brother, David Glenn Adkins and wife Linda; children: William Harley Gibbs and wife Bernadette, and Jennifer Gibbs Solesby and husband Bruce; grandchildren: Colby, Morgan, Zachary, Olivia, Mazzy, Elizabeth, Autumn, Lukasz, Hayden and Violet; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Green Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 2:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
