Dale Glen Edwards

Dale Glen Edwards, 64, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. He was a lifelong resident of Buncombe County. He was a son of the late Kyle Hilliard Edwards and Joyce Corn Edwards. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Jo Donna Ingle Edwards, who passed away on January 2, 2013. Mr. Edwards retired from Southeastern Container, and was considered a Jack of all Trades by many of his friends and family. Surviving are his children: Maggie Edwards, Amie Chandler and husband Jimmy, and Joe Piper and wife Annissa; grandchildren: Tommy Wayne McAbee, Jr., Kyle Ethan Medford, Mya Keely Ray, Brittney Nicole Wolfe, and Alex Drake Piper; great-grandchild, Kaesyn Jo McAbee; sisters: Desiree Greene and husband Cameron, Debbie Pinchard and husband Steve, and Denise Edwards; brother, Dennis Edwards and wife Carol; many nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog: Tater. Memorial services will be held at 4 PM Friday, October 27, 2017, in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with the Rev. Steve Oxner officiating. The family will receive friends for 1 hour prior to the services.
