Cornelia H. Todd

Asheville Cornelia Maxine Hendren Todd, 83, of 142 Governors View Road, went to be with her Lord on Monday, April 14, 2014 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A native of Haywood County, she had resided in Buncombe County most of her life. She was formerly employed at Haw Creek Elementary School as a Library Assistant, was a 25 year Volunteer with American Red Cross, was a member of Oakley Baptist Church and attended Emmanuel Full Gospel Church. Mrs. Todd was the daughter of the late Isaac Hendren and Bonnie Sue Thompson Hendren. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Virgie Dupree and Catherine Nanney. Surviving are her husband, Robert D. Todd of the home; daughter, Lori Caldwell and husband Brian of Asheville and grandchildren, Todd Rhodes, Amelia Rhodes and Brianna Caldwell. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, April 16, 2014 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Woodby and Rev. Tom Pierce officiating.
