Corena Pearson

Greeneville, TN Evelyn Corena Pearson, 81, passed away peacefully in her home early on Monday, October 27, 2014 while being surrounded by her loving family. She was a native of Haywood County and a resident of Candler for most of her life before moving to Greeneville, TN in 2008. She was a member of the Candler Church of God and attended the Fellowship Baptist Church of Greeneville, TN. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Pearson was a daughter of the late Edward McKinley Robinson and Dorothy Marie Towe Robinson and is also preceded in death by her daughter, Vicky Pearson, one brother and two sisters. Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Wilbur Dean Pearson; children, Mike Pearson, Donna Short (Terry), Tommy Pearson (Mary) and Diane Bartlett (Jody); sisters, Loretta Pittillo and Carolyn Reese. Within her life, she was blessed with 11 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Pisgah View Memorial Park with Pastor Danny R. Ellis officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 to 1:30 PM Thursday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
