Chuck Capps

Asheville Charles Chuck Weaver Capps, 47, of 47 Vinewood Circle, went to Heaven on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was formerly employed with Rices Towing and Asheville Wrecker and formerly attended Friendship Baptist Church and later attended Aaron Baptist Church. He was an avid NASCAR fan of six time champion Jimmy Johnson and football fan of the New England Patriots. Chuck was a son of the late Paul Joseph Capps and Lois Jean Price Capps. He was also preceded in death by the best granny ever Minnie Passmore. Surviving are his brother, Dennis Joseph Capps of Asheville; one niece and her three children all of SC and several cousins. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Sunday, January 10, 2016 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
