Chloe Huntley Sales

Fairview Chloe Beatrice Huntley Sales, 75, formerly of 22 Woodcrest Drive, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2009 at Flesher's Fairview Health Care Center. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, Mrs. Sales retired in 1983 from the Dietary Department of St. Joseph Hospital as a Dietician. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter #38 and was a member of Laurel Pines Baptist Church since 1951. Mrs. Sales was the daughter of the late W.B. and Delia Proffitt Huntley, and the wife of Arthur Lee Sales, who passed away August 1, 1984. Surviving are her daughter, Wanda Zachary and husband Brett of Fairview; sons: Wesley Sales and wife Cindy of Jacksonville, NC, Roger Sales and wife Lynn, and Dennis Sales, all of Fairview; brother, R.B. Huntley of Asheville; 8 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Monday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home and Cremation Center, with the Rev. Tony Parham officiating. Private graveside services will be held at Cane Creek Cemetery following the funeral. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Monday at the funeral home.
