Woodfin Charles Grady Bradley, 89, of 90 West Skyland Circle, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Bradley was born in Catawba County and resided in Buncombe County most of his life. He retired as Owner & Operator of Bradley Auto Sales and was formerly employed at the Farmers Federation and with Pilot Life and Kanawha Life Insurance Companies. He served with the Town of Woodfin as Alderman for 19 years, was Mayor Pro Tem, served on numerous Boards and Committees, was Chairman of the Woodfin Fire Department & Community Center, served on the Elk Mountain Cemetery Committee for numerous years and was a member of Elk Mountain Baptist Church. Mr. Bradley was the son of the late Oscar Grady Bradley and Janie Lee Sullivan Bradley and husband of Lois Beatrice Hooker Bradley who died July 25, 2013. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Beulah Mae Banks and Pauline Ponder. Surviving are his son, Roger Bradley and wife Jennifer of Leicester; granddaughters, Ashlie Nicole, Alexandra and Adrienne; great granddaughters, Daylyn and ORyley; niece, Nancy Robinson and nephews, Michael Ponder and Jay Banks. Graveside services will be held at 3 PM Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Pisgah View Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Matthew Roland, Chris Spivey, Michael Ponder, Jerry Murray, Richard Robinson and Matthew Ingle. Honorary pallbearer will be Jay Banks. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 PM Sunday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
