Charles A. Ball

Charles Anthony Ball, 73, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 7, 2018 at his residence. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was a son of the late Tony R. Ball and Lola Mike Wright Ball. He was also preceded in death by his sisters: Coleen Barnette, Peggy Dean Ball, Barbara Ball McDade, and Judy Ball Clark; and brothers: Jimmy Lee Ball and Bill Ball. Mr. Ball loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and family. He will be greatly missed. Surviving are his wife, Marie Ball; children: Mark Anthony Ball and wife Dana of Haywood County, Gary Charles Ball of Asheville, Vicki Ball Jackson of Asheville, Regina Ball of Candler, and Jody Dustin Ball of Asheville; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 12 Noon on Wednesday, December 12, at Pisgah View Memorial Park with Pastor Johnny Prettyman officiating. The family will receive friends at the home following services on Wednesday.
