Casey Hollifield

Asheville Floyd Casey Hollifield, 25, passed away Monday, May 11, 2015 following injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he worked at Stanleys Mobile Home Movers. He had formerly attended Enka High School, was active in sports and enjoyed motorcycles and horses and attended Cowboy Church. Casey is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, J.D. Hollifield and maternal grandfather, Jack Clark. Surviving are his parents, Roger Dean Hollifield and Angela Clark Hollifield; brother, Chris Vick and paternal grandmother, Maureen Hollifield all of Asheville; maternal grandmother, Ruth Clark Reynolds; aunt, Vivian Clark Deitz and husband Bobby and first cousin, Jennifer Green all of Leicester. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, May 15, 2015 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Pastor Louis Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
