Carolyn Sue "Meme" Sherlin

Mars Hill - Carolyn Sue Meme Galloway Sherlin, 52, of 911 Mountain View Rd. died Friday, February 28, 2003 at Mission St. Josephs Health System. A native of Henderson Co., she was the daughter of the late Robert Galloway and Doris Rice. Surviving are her husband, Carlisle Sherlin of the home, daughters of the heart, Marlena Sherlin of the home and Rita Fox of Greenville, SC; grandchildren, Amber Ingle, Trent Sherlin, Terri Worsham, Shelby Worsham, and Lesleigh Martin; brother, George Michael Galloway and wife Shirley of Asheville. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Monday at the Gospel Tabernacle, 202 Brickyard Rd., Asheville with the Rev. Eugene Dodd officiating. The family will receive friends at their home following the service and at other times they will be at the home. 1 Corinthians 13:8 - Love never fails.
