Carolyn Gillespie Waycaster

Hendersonville Carolyn Grace Gillespie Waycaster, 68, of 108 Byrd Lane went to be with her Lord Monday, July 12, 2010 at Pardee Hospital. A native of Buncombe County and a resident of Henderson County for the past 14 years. She retired from Farnam Custom Products for over 25 years of service and formerly attended Gospel Tabernacle. Mrs. Waycaster was a daughter of the late Edgar Francis Gillespie and Lillian Freeman Gillespie. She was also preceded in death by her son, Jeffery Dean Waycaster. Surviving are her husband, Clarence Elmer Waycaster, whom she married December 10, 1960, of the home; sons, Randy Waycaster & wife Teresa of Candler and Phillip Dale Waycaster of Edneyville; grandchildren, Diana, Cheyenne, Shawna & Mathew; great grandsons, Davin, Benjamin, Jackson 1 sister and 3 brothers. Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Friday at the Gospel Tabernacle with Rev. Eugene Dodd officiating. Burial will follow in Gashes Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7 to 8:30 P.M. Thursday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
