Carolyn Elkins

Canton - Carolyn Glenda Elkins, 59, of 18 Ferguson Street, passed away Monday, October 22, 2007 at the Oaks of Sweeten Creek. A native of Buncombe County, she was a member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church. Ms. Elkins was the daughter of the late Clyde and Marie Rowe Elkins. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Harriet Elizabeth Freeman. Surviving are her brother, Hubert Elkins and wife Shelia of Hendersonville; nephew, Doug Freeman of Arden; and nieces: Jennifer Jones and husband Darren of Saluda and Carla Elkins of Raleigh. No services are planned at this time.
