Britt Williams

Leicester - Britt Williams, 78, of 159 Goughes Branch Road, died Tuesday May 15, 2007 at his home after an extended illness. A native of Yancey County, he lived most of his life in Buncombe County. He was a member of West Asheville First Church of God and retired from Forest Lawn Memorial Park after 22 years of service as the grounds supervisor. He was the son of the late James and Dellia Honeycutt Williams. Surviving are his wife, Juanita Williams of the home; sons, David B. Williams and wife Gail of Weaverville, Bruce Williams of Weaverville and Calven Williams and wife Leah of Riverview, FL; daughters, Jeanette Williams of Weaverville and Marsha Nash of Enka; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Dedrick Clark officiating. Entombment will be in Lewis Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
