Bonnie Thompson Hendren

Arden - Bonnie Sue Thompson Hendren, 92, a resident of The Oaks at Sweeten Creek died Monday May 5, 2003 at St. Joseph Hospital after a brief illness. A native of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late William Vance and Ella Mae Thompson and the wife of the late Isaac Shelby Hendren who died in 1936. Surviving are her beloved daughters, Virginia Dupree of Moncks Corner, S.C., Catherine Nanney and Cornelia Todd both of Asheville; Brother, Clyde Thompson of Asheville; Grandchildren, Lori, Isaac, Blease, Shirley and Cornelia; Great Grandchildren, Todd, Amelia, Kevin, Lisa, Rodney, Bobbie Jo, Sherwood, Therisa, Kayla and Brittany; Great Great Grandchildren, Carrie, Brandon, Alex and Madison and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at West Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Raymond Woody officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Tuesday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
