Bobby Frizsell

Asheville Bobby Norman Frizsell, 80, of Asheville, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at the Charles George VA Medical Center. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, Mr. Frizsell retired from Ingle-Mayflower Moving Company as a dispatcher and driver. He attended Biltmore Holiness Temple, and was a Past Master of the Black Mountain Masonic Lodge. Mr. Frizsell was a veteran of the US Air Force, serving for 10 years. He was an avid fisherman. Mr. Frizsell was the son of the late James and Atlass Waldroup Frizsell. He was also preceded in death by an infant son, Michael Allen Frizsell; and brothers: Ray and Kenneth Frizsell. Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Sarah Brown Frizsell; children: Vicky Lynn Moore, and Rick Frizsell and wife Dena; step-daughters: Deborah Cox, and Geraldine Ballew and husband Raymond; grandsons: Tanner Frizsell, Jason Frizsell and wife Lisa, and Earl Williams; brother, James Frizsell and wife Jackie; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, with the Rev. Mark Penley officiating. The family will receive friends following the services at the cemetery. The family would like to offer a heartfelt Thank You to the staff of the Charles George VA Medical Center of their love and kindness during Mr. Frizsells stay.
