Betty Sledge

Asheville, NC Betty Ann Sledge, 82, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at the Asheville Nursing and Rehab. A native of Asheville, NC, she was a homemaker, member of Pole Creek Baptist Church, Candler, NC and her love in life were her little companion dogs. She was a daughter of the late James Clyde Moody and Nemo Gertrude Payne Moody and the wife of the late Eugene Sledge. Surviving are her sisters, Barbara Jo Oates of Princeton, KY and Carolyn Brunson of Paducah, KY; nieces, Pamela Jo Robinson and Lesa Faye Wynn; nephews, Jeffery Wayne Oates, Bernie and Scott Brunson and numerous cousins. Graveside services will be held 2:30 PM Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Riverside Cemetery, Asheville, NC with Rev. Jerry Payne officiating.
