Betty Sharpe

Asheville – Betty Louise Ball Sharpe, 78, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024, at the Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.

A native of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late Willis Ray Ball and Inez Warren Ball. She was also preceded in death by her sisters: Billie Ray Gowan and Doris Anne McCuiston.

Surviving are her daughters: Tamiko Apple and husband, William and Terri Dean and husband, Greg; grandchildren: Spencer Dean, Heath Dean and Cooper Dean and brother, John Calvin Ball.

Private graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Green Hills Cemetery, with Rev. Daryl Overton officiating.
