Betty L. Earley

Asheville Betty Lou Mammy Earley, 77, of 249 Montford Ave, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County. Mrs. Earley was a daughter of the late Welsie W. and Flora Moss DeWeese. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Maggielee Hughes and Pauline Sprinkle. Surviving are her husband, J.G. Earley of the home; children, Tim Earley and wife Linda of Haw River, Linda Anderson and husband Jack of Asheville and David Earley and wife Danielle of Weaverville; grandchildren, Kristin Earley, Melissa Aschenbrenner and husband Adam, Stephanie English and husband, Bryan, Gabe Earley, Natasha Earley and Davis Earley; great grandchildren, August, Aubrey and Isaac; sister, Mary Anderson of Allen Park, MI and brother, Charles DeWeese of Arden. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Monday, August 6, 2012 in the chapel of the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery with Rev. Marc Penley and Rev. Gene Stump officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Saturday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of the John F.
