Betty Jo Hyatt

Asheville Betty Jo Hyatt, 70, of Asheville, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the St. Joseph Campus of Mission Hospitals. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, Mrs. Hyatt attended the Salvation Army Church. She was the daughter of the late Aaron and Louise Penley Johnston, and the wife of the late Clifford Hyatt. Mrs. Hyatt was also preceded in death by her brothers: Gary and Jerry Johnston. Surviving are her son, Randy Hyatt and wife Debbie; grandchildren: Briana Hyatt, Chris Hyatt, Stephanie Greene, and Frankielynn Davis; several great-grandchildren; sisters: Hazel Wright and Mary Lou Carter; brothers: Larry and David Johnston; and several nieces and nephews. No services are planned at this time.
