Betty A. Reinhardt

Asheville Betty Jane Aiken Reinhardt, 81, of 308 New Leicester Hwy, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. A native of Catawba County, she had resided in Buncombe County since 1966. Mrs. Reinhardt was a daughter of the late John Henry Aiken and Ruth Elizabeth Lingerfelt Aiken and wife of Glenn Virgel Reinhardt who died September 1, 2000. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Sam Elliott and one brother. Surviving are her daughters, Glenda Payne of Weaverville and Angela Elliott of Asheville; sons, Eddie K. Murray of Charlotte, Gary A. Reinhardt of Asheville and Mike Murray of Norfolk, VA; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two sisters; two brothers and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Thursday, April 18, 2013 at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Steve V. Oxner officiating. The family will receive friends following services at the cemetery.
