Bertha Mcelreath Rhinehart

LEICESTER Bertha Lee McElreath Rhinehart, 74, of 4206 New Leicester Highway passed away Sunday, February 24, 2008 at the St. Josephs Campus of Mission Hospitals. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late James Jackson McElreath, Sr. and Maythorne Payne McElreath and also preceded in death by her infant brother, James Jackson McElreath, Jr. Mrs. Rhinehart retired from Square D following 26 years of service and was a member of Union Baptist Church. Surviving are her aunt, Betty Young of Weaverville; uncle, Lloyd Payne of Leicester and a number of cousins. Graveside services will be held 11 am Thursday at Union Baptist Church Cemetery, Leicester with the Rev. Ray Roberts officiating. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
