Beauford Deck Welch

Beauford Deck Welch, 89, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, April 28th, 2018, at his home, with the Dogwoods blooming and a beautiful view of the mountains that he loved, where he resided with his wife, Anna Lois. He was a wonderful husband, father, and all-around good man. Mr. Welch was retired from GM after 30 years of service. He was a member of Cedar Lodge #60, A & FM, in Clarkston, MI. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Thelma Faye Raby Welch; brother, Charles Beachel Welch; sisters, Mary Sue Wesley; and Violet Ann Meadows; and step- daughter, Teva Cook. Mr. Welch is survived by two daughters: Sharon Lee Ingles, and Linda Sue Caissie; one son Dana William Welch; granddaughters, Alanna Welch, Brenna Hogue, and Cara Welch; and sister, Juanita Owenby. Mr. Welch is also survived by one step-daughter, Pamela Carter; and step-grandchildren, Robbie Gunnin, Jonah Hickson, Charis Hickson, and Logan Vaughn. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 2, at 1 PM in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, in Asheville NC. The family will received friends for 1 hour prior to service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
