Beatrice Wilson Phillips

Prosperity, SC - Beatrice Wilson Phillips, 81, of 18 Hidden Cove Lane went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 14, 2003 at Providence Hospital, Columbia, SC. A native of Buncombe County, she had lived most of her life there before moving to Prosperity ten years ago. Mrs. Phillips was retired from Magnavox and had attended Dreher Island Baptist Church in Prosperity. She was the daughter of the late Creed B. and Julia May Arrowood Wilson. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Nell Baucom, son-in-law, William Parker, sisters, Mamie Hatley and Polly Franklin, brothers, Wayne, Clarence, Ralph, Ernest and Ray Wilson. Surviving are her husband, Kremer W. Phillips of the home; daughters, Patsy Parker-Farrell and husband Randy of Burlington, Kathi Crain of Louisburg; and Pam Corn and husband Dennis of Asheville; son-in-law, Jeff Baucom of Calif; sister, Kathleen Parker of Prosperity; brother, Paul Wilson of Hendersonville; grandchildren, Bil Parker, Jr. and wife Pam, Patty Jo Coltrane and husband Gary, Stavros Baucom, Chris Baucom, Denise Kerns, Jody Crain, Shawn Crain, Kayla DeLong, Misty Garren and husband Stephen, and Amanda Corn; 15 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Wednesday in the Anders-Rice Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. William Geddings, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
