Asia Starr Connor

Hubert/Asheville - Asia Starr Connor, 14 month old daughter of Ronnie and Mechelle Conner passed away unexpectedly Thursday March 22, 2007 at her home in Hubert, NC. A native and resident of Buncombe County most of her life, she had recently moved to Hubert with her family. In addition to her parents, she is also survived by her sister, Shiane Page and brother, En Logan of the home; half brother, Tyler George Connor of Candler; paternal grandparents, Nataleen and Clarence Connor of Marshall; maternal grandparents, Vernon and Willis Johnson of Hubert and several aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members who love her very much. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Mt. Zion Freewill Baptist Church with the Revs. Mack Revis, Elmer Edwards, Jack Presnell and Marvin Collins officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert, Lucky, Scooter and Wahoo Connor and Luke Buckner serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home and from 1 to 2 P.M. Tuesday at the church. At other times the family will be at the home of Tim and Wilma Brown, 5 Arrowhead Lane in Weaverville.
