Arville Hall

Miami, FL. - Arville Elmore Hall, 72, of 10780 SW 102nd Ave. died Friday December 10, 2010 at his residence. A native of Buncombe County and resident of Florida since the mid 1960's, he retired from the Miami Herald following 28 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserve. He was a son of the late Ernest Elmore and Almeria Morris Hall and was also preceded in death by his brother, Harold Morris. Surviving are his wife Sharon Stein Hall of the home; several cousins including Sondra Chambers Jarvis, Ricky Chambers, Randy Chambers, Debbie Chambers, Alan Styles, Marshall Styles and Cora Moore and 3 nieces, Charlene and Almeria Hendl and Robin Worley. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Green Hills Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Donald Ray, Ricky Chambers, Alan Styles, Gilbert Karn, Marshall Styles and Alan Bronowitz. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
