West Asheville William Anson Bell, 71, of 97 Bear Creek Road, went to be with his Lord on Friday, April 19, 2013 at his home. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was Co-Owner of the Main Auto Parts and Bell Mini Storage. He was a member of Trinity Methodist Church and 1962 graduate of Campbell University where he received his B.S. Degree in Business Administration. He served during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Army. Mr. Bell was a son of the late Raymon Bivian Bell and Frances Brown Bell. Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Donna Dillingham Bell of the home; brother, John Grover Bell and wife Patty of Asheville; father-in-law, John Charles Dillingham of Asheville; nieces, Shannon Bell Freeman and husband Brady of Williamston, SC and Leslie Bell Wilder and husband Steve of Weaverville; first cousin, Gene McCracken and wife Ruthie of San Mateo, CA and special friends, Herbert and Carolyn Mullen and their family of Elizabeth City. Funeral services will be held 2:30 P.M. Sunday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Wade Zachary officiating. Burial will follow in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.
